The "ArchäologieTour Wertachtal" is a joint project of the municipalities of Pforzen and Rieden and the city of Bad Wörishofen.
With this circular route we would like to invite you to discover the history of our region while you move around for free.
The Wertachtal between Pforzen and Schlingen, with its numerous archaeological sites and its charming landscape, offers the ideal opportunity to combine nature and culture; In addition, "UDO Danuvius Guggenmosi" was outsourced separately.
The 16 km long circular cycle route leads to 11 archaeological monuments that are still visible in the area today or have been explored through excavations.
At each of these places it becomes clear how attractive this region has been as a settlement area for people for a long time.
